        Plant Culture:
        1. The origin of the name
It turns out that Liu Jinu went to the mountain to cut firewood when he was young, and when he saw a giant snake, he hurriedly drew his bow and set up an arrow, and shot the snake's head. The snake was wounded and fled. The next day he went up the mountain again, but there was a faint sound of smashing medicine from a distance, so he followed the sound and saw a few boys in green clothes pounding medicine in the grass, so he went up and asked, "Who are you pounding medicine for here, and what disease are you treating?" After running away, Ji Nu took back the herbal medicine and the medicine slurry made in the mortar together, and used this medicine to treat people, which was quite miraculous. Later, when Liu Jinu led the army to fight, whenever he encountered gunshot wounds, he crushed the medicine and applied it to the wounds, and the wounds healed quickly, which was very effective. But the soldiers didn't know what the medicine was called, they only knew that it was the fairy herb Liu Jinu got from shooting snakes, so they called it "Liu Jinu". This is the only Chinese herbal medicine named after the emperor in history, and it has been passed down.
        2. Historical records
"Southern History" records that during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Liu Yu, Emperor Wu of the Song Dynasty, whose style name was Deyu and nicknamed Jinu, was originally a general of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Before he became emperor, he once led his troops to Xinzhou. Liu Yu was blocked by a giant snake lying on the road while leading troops to pursue and suppress him. Liu Yu bent his bow and hit the giant snake with an arrow, which wounded and fled. The next day, Liu Yu led his troops to the forest to continue searching for the remnants of the enemy. Suddenly hearing the sound of pestle and mortar in the depths of the mountain forest, he sent soldiers to check. The soldiers followed the sound and saw a few boys in Tsing Yi making medicine. The soldiers were about to raise their knives to kill him, and all the boys fell to the ground for help and said: "Just because General Liu shot my lord yesterday, the pain was unbearable, and I ordered me to smash the medicine to cover the wound." The soldiers reported this to Liu Yu. Liu Yu was very surprised. At that time, I didn't know what the name of this herbal medicine was. Everyone thought that General Liu Yu got the medicine by shooting a snake, so they named it "Liu Jinu" after Liu Yu's name.
