    Dianthus superbus L. is a perennial herb of the genus Dianthus in the family Caryophyllaceae, also known as Alpine Dianthus, 50-60 cm high, sometimes even higher.         Pharmacological effects:
        1. Diuretic effect
        Qumai has a certain diuretic effect on rabbits, anesthetized and non-anesthetized dogs. Gastrointestinal decoction of Qumai decoction 2 g/kg can increase the urine output to 156.6% and the chloride to 268.2%, the diuretic effect of Qumai Gansui decoction is similar to that of pure ear, but slightly weaker. Qumai decoction can increase the urine volume of anesthetized dogs by 1-2.5 times, and increase the urine volume of non-anesthetized dogs by 5-8 times. The effect of Qumai on potassium excretion Greater than sodium, the potassium content in Qumai is 500 mg%, and its diuretic potassium excretion may be related to this.

       Both the water extract and the low polarity extract of Qumai can inhibit the secretion of human B cell immunoglobulin.
       6. Antibacterial
       The aqueous and ethanol extracts of Qumai have inhibitory effects on Escherichia coli, Salmonella paratyphi, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Proteus.
       7. Insecticide
       Qumae ethyl acetate extract has strong root-knot nematode killing activity.
       8. Anti-lipid peroxidation
       Qumai decoction has obvious inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation in rat liver homogenate.
       9. Exciting uterus
       3,4-Dihydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester has obvious anti-early pregnancy effect on pregnant rats. It was found that Qumai had an excitatory effect on the isolated uterus of rats and the uterus of rabbits in vivo.
       10. Hemolysis
        There is no hemolytic reaction at low concentration of diced alcohol extract (0.1%~10%), and slight hemolytic reaction at 100% concentration.
       11. Other functions
