  Lugua Luo is the vascular bundle of the dried and mature fruit of Lugua, also known as Tianluo Jin, Lugua Net, Lugua Shell, Gualuo Luo, Xugua Ren, Tianluo Xian, Lugua Jin, Lugua Ren, Qianlianlou, and Lugua Cloth. The efficacy and function of Lugua Luo are mainly to treat shoulder periarthritis caused by excessive cold and dampness, rheumatic joint pain, and milk stagnation and blockage caused by liver stagnation and qi stagnation. Lugua collaterals have sweet and cool properties, and are beneficial for the lungs, liver, and stomach meridians. They have the effects of clearing meridians, detoxifying, and reducing swelling. In clinical practice, they mainly treat chest and hypochondriac pain, heat blockage, muscle constriction, milk obstruction, lung heat cough, edema and ascites, carbuncle, abscess, and eczema.
  Lugua Luo has the effect of treating shoulder periarthritis with excessive cold and dampness. You can use four traditional Chinese medicines: 10 grams of ginger, 6 grams of scallion white, 20 grams of Lugua Luo, and 20 grams of Zuo Di Feng to mash them together and apply them to the affected area. Lugua Luo has the effect of treating rheumatic arthritis, mainly because it is good at dispelling wind and unblocking collaterals, and its medicinal power is gentle. It is often used in clinical practice to treat rheumatic arthritis, muscle and vein constriction, limb paralysis and other diseases. Often used in combination with Gentiana macrophylla, Fangfeng, Angelica sinensis, and Caulis spatholobi. In daily life, patients with rheumatic joint pain can prepare four traditional Chinese medicines, including 15 grams of Sigualuo, 24 grams of Lonicera japonica, 12 grams of Weilingxian, and 15 grams of Jixuedu, when the pain occurs. Pharmacological effects of Lugua Luo:

As for elderly chronic tracheitis, in recent years, the use of Lugua Luo has been tried for treatment, which has certain cough relieving and expectorant effects, but the effect is not as good as that of Lugua Teng.
