Fenugreek seed is the dry mature seed of Trigonella foenum-graecum L., a leguminous plant. The Chinese medicine alias of rubazi is also called fenugreek, huba, hubazi, bitter bean, fragrant bean, and vanilla seed. It is cultivated in all parts of the north and south of my country, and it is in a semi-wild state in the southwest and northwest. Lubazi has the functions of warming the kidney and supporting yang, warming the meridian and relieving pain, and can assist in the treatment of diseases caused by deficiency of kidney yang, cold coagulation of the liver veins, and stagnation of qi and blood.
